12.5mm FOIL BACK VAPOUR CHECK PLASTERBOARD T/E 2400 x 1200
This 12.5mm board has a layer of foil on the back to prevent condensation forming in external walls and roof spaces. Condensation can form where warm meets cold. When this happens it can create damp and mould in living spaces. Importantly it can also cause structural problems, weakening timber framed buildings and corroding other materials. Foil Backed plasterboard 12.5mm provides the same excellent fire and acoustic qualities as standard 12.5mm wallboard. Along with these qualities it also stops condensation in its tracks for better structural stability and a healthier living environment. Gypsum based plasterboard backed with a foil vapour control membrane. Used for wall and ceiling linings where plasterboard and vapour control are required in one or as an additional application.
